the days are long, but the weeks are short

okay, so i've known the people here for almost a week and i already feel like i've knwn them waayyyyy longer than that! it is so awesome to be here.... "we must rejoice in this morbid voice" "there's a frog in my throat, no, i mean a REAL frog!!" oohhh dear. the people who work at lone tree ranch came over for dessert yesterday (16 ft of dessert lol jacob) and they were pretty cool. i think i went down the water slide a million times and i am getting pretty fast. anywho. the campers start coming monday and i am sooo stinkin excited! we all moved cabins this morning and cleaned em up so they are ready to go for the kiddos! the first church is called stonegate and we're gonna have 106 kids! crazy huh? i will have 8 kids and a sponser next week so it should be a lot of fun... i havent taken any pictures yet but i will get to that, uhm eventually hehehe :) i miss home a lot actually but next week i dont think that i will have the time to miss home sorry familia! love ya!

woah, it's only tuesday, man

haha oh my goodness its only tuesday and i feel like i have been here for months! at first i was like uuhhmmm i dont know any of these people and they all already seem to know each other i dont think i belong... that was for like 2 hours haha everyone here is ssssssooo nice and hilarious. so far all we have done is read the staff handbook and got trained on some of the activities. Yesterday i learned how to do the zip line. like, how to harness campers, how to get them down, how to hook them on so they do NOT fall off all that fun stuff and i got to go down it. today, we got to go on a trail ride to help the new wrangers learn how to give their speech to the campers and whatnot. then we ate lunch (the food here is AMAZING!!) then after lunch i learned how to clean the riffles and all that jazz to run the riffle range and after that i learned AALLLL about the rc cars, those things are the bomb.com. i am now gonna go eat dinner.
